What is the last movie you watched? The Other Woman.

What is the last song you listened to? "Whoomp! (There It Is)" by Tag Team. I was enjoying this tune while on a run of course.

What is your biggest accomplishment? So far my biggest accomplishment in life is graduating from a four year college. (Shout out to UNC Asheville!) I was the first one in my immediate family to do this. I look forward to adding more to my list and doing even more.

If you could give one piece of advice to a large group of people, what would it be? Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

Why do you believe Great Things Happen When We LIVE UNITED? I want to make a difference not only in my life, but in the community—and living united is the best way to do this.

Why did you get involved with Highlands Circle? I got involved in Highlands Circle when I got my first “big girl” job at Biltmore Farms. I started making a salary of $30,000 and I felt like I was rich because I had never had a job that paid so much—so naturally I wanted to help out the community since I was making the big bucks! Since I gave a leadership gift I met the category of a 21-40 year old who gave to United Way and right off the bat I was put on the committee of Highlands Circle and haven’t looked back since!

What is your favorite quote or motto? “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.” – Dr. Seuss

Each month, we shine a spotlight on a member of Highlands Circle, a group for leaders in their 20s and 30s. If you are interested in being highlighted, please contact Kristina.Dionne@UnitedWayABC.org or call (828) 239-1049.
