United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County is located at 50 South French Broad Avenue in downtown Asheville. COVID-19 safety measures are in place. Parking
We have an ample parking lot. Clients and volunteers may park in the yellow spaces. If for some reason these are not available you may park in one of the numbered spaces.
If you would like to use our parking lot, after normal business hours for non-United Way or tenant agency business, please refer to the pay station instructions.
Handicapped Access to the Second Floor
Those unable to navigate the stairs to the second floor of our building can access by entering our property from the Hilliard Avenue side of our building. There are handicapped spaces and a ramp to the second floor there.
Driving Directions
From I-240 Eastbound:
Take Exit 4B (Patton Ave). At the second light turn right on South French Broad Ave. United Way’s building is the second on the left.
From I-240 Westbound:
Take Exit 4C. Turn left onto Montford Ave and cross over I-240. Turn Left again on Haywood St. then take your first right onto French Broad Ave. Follow through one light. French Broad becomes South French Broad. United Way’s building is the second on the left.
