General Information About Funding

The application process for funding during the 2013-14 fiscal year is closed and the review process is almost complete.  The next RFP will be issued in November 2013. In the meantime, those organizations interested in preparing for this competitive grants process for the 2014-15 fiscal year should consider the following:

Important Information

• Organizations that wish to apply for United Way must meet United Way’s Standards of Excellence. A new organization will be required to show it meets these Standards prior to completing a full application.
• Programs that are offered funding must sign a contract. The obligations that are included in this contract are listed here.
• Funding Criteria - these criteria are used by Focus Area volunteers as a guide when making investment decisions.
• United Way has established Communications Guidelines for Community Partners.
