Asheville Brewing Company Donates $2,500

You are here

To celebrate the start of our annual Community Campaign, we partnered with Asheville Brewing Company (ABC) for a benefit beer back in September. It on tap in their tasting rooms on Coxe Avenue and Merrimon Avenue throughout September and helped promote our work outside the traditional areas you might find people discussing United Way. And it was pretty tasty; all 17 kegs were gone in just under three weeks!United Way Beer Asheville

Showing the true generosity we've come to expect from Asheville's brewing community, head brewer Doug Riley presented us with a check for $2,500 from ABC. David Bailey, President/CEO of United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, stopped by to pick it up last night. Wouldn't you know, ABC was releasing another benefit beer? This time, they collaborated with French Broad Brewing Company (FBBC) on an India brown ale for Wild South, a regional nonprofit with headquarters in Asheville. You can find it at ABC and FBBC through January.

This partnership is just one of many that help us get our message to the community. Each time we share our message with someone new, a life can be changed and our community can be improved. If you are interested in sponsoring an event or partnering in some way, please email David Bailey or call (828) 236-3769.
