Community Leaders Named to 40 Under Forty Class of 2014

Since 2012, the Biltmore Beacon and the Young Professionals of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce have hosted the 40 Under Forty Leadership Awards Banquet. The event honors 40 of the region's top business professionals on Thursday October 2, 2014 at the Omni Grove Park Inn.

All honorees are nominated via letters of recommendation from places of employment and/or service organizations. They are all 39 years of age or younger, live or work in Buncombe County, are involved in their communities and show the potential to be a leader in the business community for years to come.

As in previous years, many of the honorees are involved with United Way as donors, leaders and volunteers. In fact, most of them are members of Highlands Circle, our network of passionate young professionals who are actively seeking ways to make positive and long-lasting change in our community. We extend a big "HEAR-HEAR" to all who were named to the 40 Under Forty Class of 2014. Profiles of the honorees will be featured in a glossy magazine and in the Biltmore Beacon.

Congratulations to Nick Dionne, Liz Franks, Andy Gmitter, Matt Groome, Tate Groome, Allison Jordan, John Kubis, Diana Manee, Mukunda Pacifici and Melissa Pennscott!
