First Place Winners!!! Oh, how we all love The AsheVillage People, also known as the VanWinkle Law Firm. Other than practicing law, they pride themselves on giving back to the community. Van Winkle has been an excellent partner with United Way for many years. In addition to running a highly successful workplace campaign, Heather Goldstein serves on our campaign cabinet. Heather and some of her fellow colleagues performed a classic song from the 70’s, with a twist.

First Runner Up! Girls on the Run, one of United Way’s funded partners is a life-changing, non-profit program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade. They inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Amy Renigar is the executive director and also on our campaign cabinet and on the United Way board. Amy and members of her board performed “Girls just wanna have fun".

Second Runner Up! We all know how important support is during the middle school years. Our next team, are all United Way staff members and are dedicated to making the lives of middle schoolers and their families better. They drove this point home with a Middle School mashup.

Alright, Alright, let's hear it for Bank of America! Their work with our local community spans the spectrum from consumer and commercial lending to investing and promoting economic development, philanthropy, helping nonprofits and addressing critical needs. Together, their uptown hand jive brought the house DOWN. Seriously, everyone was dancing by the end.

Our very own Jason Walls, our campaign chair, with our 2016 class of loaned executives brought their A game. This group of people are responsible for assisting with the management of workplace campaigns. They are a creative group of social butterflies. Other than raising awareness about our work, they told the crowd exactly what their top priority is for this year’s campaign.

And finally, if you need a connection to resources in our community, what three digit number are you going to call?  2-1-1. That’s right people! And doing a 2-1-1 medley mix, were the 2-1-1 Call Girls, featuring Rionel Litchie. Take it away!
