Days of Impact are corporate volunteer service events that occur twice each year that mobilize workforce volunteers to strengthen our community by matching groups with service projects focused on education, income and health goals that support the success of our community's students, their families and neighbors.

Last week, about 425 volunteers from 29 local businesses volunteered at local nonprofits and schools as part of United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County’s Fall Days of Impact event.

Example projects include:

  • Moving homeless into housing
  • Reading to students
  • Participating in a financial education simulation with students

Thank you to all the corporate groups who participated in Days of Impact this fall. Your dedication to our community does not go unnoticed. We appricaite you!
