Some of Asheville's Finest LIVE UNITED!

Members of the Asheville Fire Department participated in United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County's 2010 Virtual Campaign Kickoff, a new approach to getting the public excited about start of the campaign season. Traditionally, a campaign kickoff event was attended by a few hundred people before the annual Day of Caring volunteer event, but with the Virtual Campaign Kickoff video, more than 1,000 people heard United Way's call to action by 2010 Campaign Chair Suzanne DeFerie, Resource Development Director Kevin Montgomery and dozens of local Asheville celebrities!
