Adults with middle school aged children in their life often feel adrift. Middle school students are in a state of constant change. Add to that an ever evolving landscape of opportunities and dangers and a smattering of hormonal fluctuations...it’s chaos. Never fear! Although this is a time of constant transformations, it’s also a time where youth start to discover who they are and what they stand for. And that’s a privilege to witness.
How can a caring adult help?

- One great resource is this youtube channel coming from author and Parent education speaker, Joe Bruzzese. Joe shares strategies for thriving during the middle school years. Some of these are directed to the parent or caring adult and others are directed to the teen themselves so make sure to poke around - there really is something for everyone.
