Workplace
Campaigns
For Employees
United Way partners with local and national employers to solicit employees
for contributions to United Way. If your employer participates with United
Way, talk to your CEO or Human Resources department and ask how to make a
contribution.
If your company does not participate with United Way, ask
your CEO to consider an employee campaign.
You can also donate
online. Visit the donate now page of this site to give
now.
Consider a Fair Share Gift! (1% of salary if greater than
$20,000, one hour's pay per month if less than $20,000)
For Employers
Participation with United Way can mean making a corporate
gift, soliciting employees for contributions or both.
Consider
asking top leadership to join the Peaks Society, United
Way's Leadership Giving Program.
If you are a local employer
that does not yet participate with United Way and would
like to do so, please contact Frank McGowan, Resource Development
Director
at 828-255-0696 x317 or fmcgowan@unitedwayabc.org
For Campaign Coordinators
You aren't in this alone! Ask for help. Call your
United Way staff person or Loaned Employee.
