HIGHLANDS CIRCLE SOCIAL: CAUSE OF THE CAUSES

Registration is closed for this event

We're redefining what a social is! In addition to meeting old friends and networking with new people, this year we're adding a new element designed to connect you with the work your financial gifts support in our community.

Poverty is both a cause and a consequence of poor health.
Join us for an open conversation about the effect poverty has on the health of those experiencing it.

Moderated by United Way, a panel of local professionals will present on what it is they see and hear daily and how local partnerships are working to address this issue in our community.

► April Baur, BSN, RN, NCSN/ MAHEC Program Manager: School Health, Childcare Health Consultant
► Amanda Bauman, NC 2-1-1 Asheville Center Director
► Wendy Cuellar, MA.ED., LPCS/ School Counselor, Enka Intermediate School

An open question and answer session will follow the presentation and all are welcome to join in. Afterwards you're invited to continue the conversation over light hors d'oeuvres and drinks.
