Our day will start at 8am. Coffee, tea and light breakfast items will be avialable. There is no formal program for the afternoon. UNC Asheville has reserved the Mountain View Room until 3pm and has invited community school teams to enjoy this great space for continued reflection and goal-setting. 

We look forward to seeing you all on Friday, May 17, at 8:00 am.

The Asheville Buncombe Middle Grades Network is a partnership between Asheville City Schools, Buncombe County Schools, United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, University of North Carolina Asheville and representatives of over 50 nonprofit, health, social service, higher education, faith-based and business community partners who work together towards a shared vision that:

  • All schools and partner programs are safe, welcoming and compassionate
  • All families and neighbors have the support and tools they need for healthy and successful lives
  • All students graduate high school — ready for college, career and community
