United Way Kitchen Table Series
UNITED WAY KITCHEN TABLE
Thank you for registering for this exclusive virtual culinary experience with renowned chef, Ashleigh Shanti. With deep roots across Appalachia, Ashleigh has found her culinary identity here in Asheville. Her cuisine pays homage to the rich African-American culinary traditions that once thrived in Southern Appalachia. In addition to engaging and cooking with Ashleigh, we'll take a deeper dive into United Way's equity work with guest speaker Joseph Jamison, United Way's Equity and Network Development Specialist.
The dish you'll be learning to prepare is Field Pea Gravy Smothered Pork Chops and Wilted Iceberg. IMPORTANT: For cooking instructions, and the needed ingredients (along with a bio of Ashleigh) click HERE. Be sure to make a copy!
