2021 School Supply Drive Success

Image

We would like to share our deepest gratitude for everyone who helped contribute to this year's School Supply Drive sponsored by our incredible community partners at Bank of America. Thanks to your donations and support we surpassed our goal and were able to purchase and pack 2,500 fully stocked backpacks for elementary and middle grades students throughout Buncombe County this year.

These supplies will ensure our students have the materials they need in the classroom and that our families feel supported in the school year ahead. Special thanks to Roonga who supports the bulk purchasing of these supplies and to Harrahs Cherokee Center for allowing us to use their space, to our incredible sponsors at Bank of America for their continued partnership, to all of the incredible interns and volunteers who so graciously shared their time as well as all of our community partners who will distribute these supplies to our students. This is one example of how we choose to live as one, how we choose to Live United in this one-hundredth year of our organization in community in Buncombe County.
