Gratitude for FASTSIGNS of Asheville's Community Support

We're incredibly grateful for FASTSIGNS of Asheville and their continued incredible support to our community.

Last April, just after the COVID-19 virus reached the N.C. mountains, FASTSIGNS stepped up to donate 1500 face masks to the Buncombe County COVID-19 Task Force through our organization as we gathered community donations to support those serving on the front lines. Owner Ric Davenport shared that when he found out that he had access to a source for masks, he knew he wanted to move forward in securing them for our community in any way that he could.

Fast forward to 2021 and FASTSIGNS International reached out to the Asheville team to award them a $1000 gift in recognition of their generous mask donation. They in turn reached out to donate that money to our organization and continued work alongside community partners throughout Asheville and Buncombe County.

"The local FASTSIGNS of Asheville has supported United Way Asheville Buncombe County for many years to help those in need in our community," Davenport says. "UWABC's broad reach and cooperative programs partner with other community based NGO's and government relief operations in a way that greatly leverages any contribution or support FASTSIGNS can give to the community."
