Women United at the Bunn House

On Tuesday evening, October 4th, members of the Women United gathered together for an Evening in the Garden at the Bunn House, a boutique hotel in downtown Asheville.

Surrounded by beautiful scenery, lovely flowers from Blue Ridge Blooms, and delicious hors d'oeuvre catered by HomeGrown, it was a spectacular evening.

Laura Elliot, Middle School Success Director, spoke to WLC members about the importance of United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County’s Middle School Success Initiative and how WLC members can join other caring adults and become a steady force in a local student's life. Long and short term volunteer opportunities, that fit most every schedule, can be found here.
