Buncombe Partnership For Children

As a member of the United for Youth Network, we commit to:

  1. Through BPFC’s early educator Workforce Development Program, the number of BIPOC educators will increase and children will have teachers who reflect their racial diversity;
  2. A new single portal of entry system for families applying for subsidized childcare will provide families with clear options, a user-friendly application process and prioritize children of families who have experienced barriers to accessing care; and
  3. Family members who are interested in participating in the Asheville-Buncombe Preschool Planning Collaborative and/or a workgroup to share their perspective and be actively involved in the NC-PreK expansion planning process will receive stipends to support and recognize their participation.
