Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My husband Bob and I have lived in Asheville for 20 years, raised 2 sons, and now are enjoying our empty nest. My career has included global facilitation and training, community development, and nonprofit management. We have lived in Uganda, South Africa, Peru, and Ecuador.

Give us a glimpse into your role at United Way. How do you help us fulfill our mission? What are you most excited about accomplishing as a team?

I am thrilled to be the Community School Coordinator at Reynolds Middle School where I will foster relationships and engagement of students, families, and cross-sector community partners in order to co-create supportive connections and services for student success.

What’s your favorite thing about our community?

I love the collaborative spirit and collective commitment to working towards shared vision and goals.

What would we find you doing when you aren’t at work?

Hiking with my dog, hubby and friends, yoga, making art in my home studio.
