Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I received my Masters of Social Work from Western Carolina University in 2017. Lived and worked in downtown Asheville for almost 10 years in the service industry. My wife and I recently built a home in Swannanoa. On the board of FANS (Friends and Neighbors of Swannanoa)
Give us a glimpse into your role at United Way. How do you help us fulfill our mission? What are you most excited about accomplishing as a team?
As a Community School Coordinator, my main focus is to connect the needs of our students and families with individuals and organizations that can help. Whether it is through the clothing closet, food pantry, school supply shelf, or just a snack during the day, I work to support our students and families in any way that I can.
What’s your favorite thing about our community?
The connection and support that is available and the strong response from community members when called to action
What would we find you doing when you aren’t at work?
I enjoy watching sports, trying new restaurants, and supporting events in the community.
