Donate Blood, Save a Life.

Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, as well as those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood.

Join us Tuesday, June 25th, at the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County building located at 50 South French Broad, anytime from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. to donate and support someone else in need through the American Red Cross of Western North Carolina. Reserve an appointment at redcrossblood.org using code unitedway for a one-time blood donation that day that will help save up to three lives.

The American Red Cross of Western North Carolina Chapter serves a population of more than 775 thousand people in the counties of Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, and Yancey.

If you have questions or difficulty making an appointment for the day online, email Karen Billings at karen.billings@unitedwayabc.org
