COMMUNITY FIRST, NETWORKING SECOND
Highlands Circle members marked the changing of the seasons as they gathered for their 2018 Spring Social. The event — held at Whole Foods Tap Haus — provides an opportunity for members to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, reconnect with friends and learn more about the on-going work to reduce the impact of poverty in our community.
NEW LEADERSHIP
Michael Cortes was officially introduced as the new Highlands Circle Chair and spoke about the impact the group is having in the community and encouraged non-members to connect with existing members to learn more about the work the group is involved in. Michael has been involved with Highlands Circle for a number of years. We're very excited to have Michael at the helm and look forward to the great things he and the Highlands Circle Steering Committee will accomplish in the future.

Highlands Circle will be hosting a Lunch & Learn on May 24. Members are highly encouraged to join us as we learn about poverty, the local housing crisis and the toll they take on some of Asheville's most vulnerable citizens.
