Thanks to our WLC members who came out and volunteered at the Reality Store at Erwin Middle School during Days of Impact.
After 24 years, Day of Caring, an annual one-day volunteer event, has been transformed into Days of Impact. In this new three-day, twice-a-year format we will continue to mobilize large numbers of volunteers but we will spend a lot more time tying the experience to the issues and the people impacted by these volunteers. This week (April 26-28) 350 volunteers from 28 local businesses/groups volunteered at 45 projects at local nonprofits and schools.
