Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Living "a life of ceaseless discovery" probably describes my path the best. In many ways I love to explore the 90% of the iceberg which we can't see.
I've been in the software/computer engineering field for many years, before switching over to working with children (3-12 years old ) according to the Montessori pedagogy. I joined United Way in 2022.

Give us a glimpse into your role at United Way. How do you help us fulfill our mission? What are you most excited about accomplishing as a team?

My role is supporting the implementation of engagement strategies that align with UWABC goals and focusing on the volunteer recruitment of nonprofit and school partners in our community.

What’s your favorite thing about our community?

A very heartwarming sense of having returned home.

What would we find you doing when you aren’t at work?

Offering sound journeys, playing the didgeridoo, facilitating workshops, eating yummy food, enjoying the amazing nature of WNC, and more.

Do you have any podcast, book, music, or movie recommendations?

"To Bless The Space Between Us" by John O'Donohue.
